TNR Saves Lives!
Trap and Return, also known as Trap, Neuter, Return, or TNR β is the most humane and effective approach to controlling free-roaming cats. TNR helps to keep feral, stray, and alley cats healthy and happy while allowing them to remain in their natural habitat.
If you have questions about free-roaming cats in your community, we want to help. Check out our resources to help you help more cats.

What is TNR (Trap, Neuter/Spay, Return)
TNR is about caring for community cats through trapping, spaying/neutering, vaccinating, and returning the cats to their outdoor home. TNR is a great way to help keep feral cats safe, healthy, and fixed. Feral cats are usually less likely to socialize with humans, they are harder to foster and adopt, and less likely to be taken in by a shelter. The only other humane option is to support the outdoor cat colony.
